The Trust is delighted to share that £103,162 has been awarded to support 11 projects in our most recent spring 2023 general grants round.
The projects are very diverse and will benefit a wide cross-section of the community.
These include supporting Beach Wheelchairs to purchase a second motorised wheelchair and Enjoyleisure in East Lothian to install a ‘Pool Pod’, improving accessibility to both our beaches and local swimming pool. Funding has also been awarded to Firth of Forth Lobster Hatchery to deliver this summer’s education project and local sports clubs North Berwick Amateurs Football Club and North Berwick Swimming Club have received funding towards equipment and training.
£1,239,456.21 has now been awarded in total to 172 community projects and to individuals in need since North Berwick’s ‘Forever Fund’ opened in 2018.
